Dog friendly pub, in a good location. Arguably the worse Sunday lunch I've eaten, but could be down to been served 30 minutes before kitchen closed. Shame.
Traditional and authentic local market town pub. Very dog friendly with free water and dog treats. Food is respectable fare and the kitchen is good at what they know but always check the specials board for a tasty surprise. Wide range of ales, wines and drinks on a good rotation and sets of bar snacks. Updated rooms seem clean and fresh but not many in number so book early to avoid disappointment. Speedy and friendly staff service, would heartily recommend this pub.
Sadly this Pub could be so mucb better but the atmosphere is missing. A chain pun which provides a level of service which misses the independent drive.
Just had the homemade steak and ale pie which was beautiful and it came with home made chips..yeah. Will definitely go again
