Had a lovely relaxing two night stay for my birthday. Had an enjoyable three course meal and the restaurant staff were great. The hotel has just been taken over and is in need of a refurbishment in the bathrooms and in the spa.
Really enjoyed our day. Treatments and staff were lovely and the 'light lunch ' set us up for the day! Chunky bread filled with off the bone ham and homemade soup...definitely will visit again.
A lovely relaxing two days. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food on the restaurant was amazing. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub too. The Cocktail with the afternoon tea was a great bonus.
It is dated, but has just been taken over. It has lots of potential. Not at it's best in mid winter, but will come into it's own in warmer weather. Staff are very good and food is better than average.
Only stayed for one night because we are flying in the morning. All the staff are really lovely very friendly. The place is a little dated but I will definitely come and stay again, our meal was lovely I had the fish pie it was delicious my hubby had the burger he said it was lovely and it certainly looked it, my mother had the fish and chips and she said they were lovely as well the spa looks really nice but we haven't been have a early start tomorrow. The bed is comfy that's all you need. After talking to the staff it's sounds like there is exciting changes ahead.
